  GOODYEAR, Mary Joan Peaceftilly, to the gentle arms of Jesus, on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1998, at Burnaby Hospital, Burnaby, B.C., in her 60th year, after lengthy illness with cancer. Beloved daughter of the late Thomas Leo Goodyear (1966) and Mary Anne (Taylor) (1990) of Cambridge. Predeceased by a sister, Mary Irene (1926); a brother, Francis Albert (1989) and a brother-in-law, George Bryant (1995). Sadly missed by four brothers, Wilfred, James (Helen), all of Kitchener, Austin of Ayton and Larry (Mari) of Cambridge; three sisters, Marjorie Bryant of Kitchener, Theresa (Jerome) Kieswetter, Beatrice (William) Frost, all of Waterloo; many nieces, nephews and cousins and special friend of Robert Petch of Burnaby, B.C. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Rome, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge on Monday, Feb. 16, 1998, at 10 a.m. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge. Reception to follow in St. Clement's Church Hall. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Sunday at 7 p.m. The Record Newspaper 13 Feb 1998 pg B4
