Beloved husband of Marie Fischer; dear father of Jerome of Preston, Larry of Halifax and Frances (Mrs. Nelson Hofer) of Brampton, Patricia (Mrs. N. Genovese) of Dundas, Margaret (Mrs. William Dunnigan) of Hanover, Kathrine (Mrs. Robert Haller) of Preston, also survived by 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was born in Brantford and had been a resident of Preston for 15 years; he was a retired passenger agent for the Canadian Pacific Railway in Owen Sound and had served with the CPR for 51 years; a member of St. Clement's Church; life member of the Msgr. Meyer Council Knights of Columbus. Resting at the Barthel-,Stager Funeral Home, corner Queenaton Rd. and Argyle St., Preston, until Friday morning, then to St. Clement's Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery.
