Passed away peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, April 14, 2005, in her 95th year. Beloved wife and mother of the late Henry (1987) and the late Ronald (1998). Dear mother of Dan and his wife Gay, Jerry and his partner Debbie, Jean Kampferseck and her husband Herb. Loving Grammy of Melanie and Hugh, Leanne and Jay, Mike and Linda, Kathy and Jody, Stephanie and Derek, Rob, Jeff and Tracy and Erin. Proud Great Grammy to Mikayla and Sydney. Sister-in-law to Lena Bendus. Stella was the last surviving sibling of the Bendus, family. Stella lived at Golden Years Nursing Home, for the last two years. Stella’s kindness and caring made this a warm home for her. Stella's focus was her family and she was surrounded by them in her passing. Her humor, laughter and loving embrace will be missed by them all. Predeceased by her siblings, Ann (Chowhan), Albert, Adam, Frederick, Patricia (Rudnicki) and Ralph. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass, will be celebrated at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge, on Monday, April 18, 2005, at 11 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge. Parish prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Sunday, at 7 p.m.
