  HILL, Orkney Reta Suddenly, at her residence in New Dundee, on Friday, June 9, 2000, Orkney Hill, formerly of RR# 1, Preston. She was born in Bloomingdale, 88 years ago, a daughter of the late Rev. Jesse G. and Marietta (Wahl) Martin. Orkney had been employed as a receptionist in Psychiatry, at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, for ten years. She was a member of Olivet United Church, Kitchener. Orkney had served on the committee of Wilmot Home Support and the New Dundee Senior's Club. She loved the outdoors, enjoying cross country skiing and camp fires, with her family and hiking, swimming, canoeing and motor boating with her grandson Brad. Orkney was also a cat lover and her pal Toby, was by her side daily. She was a great lady with style and grace and always had a gleam in her eye. She will be remembered dearly by all her family. There was only one "Orkney". Beloved wife of Earl Toman, who she married in 1939 and who predeceased her in 1958 and Addison Hill, who she married in 1962 and who predeceased her in 1964. Loving mother of Nancy Toman (formerly Mrs. David Main) of Elmira and Mary Ann and her husband Dieter Lenz of RR 1, New Hamburg; lovingly remembered by grandson, Brad and his wife Maggie Main and great-granddaughter, Haley Marie Main. Orkney was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Lloyd and Alice Martin and Anson and Margaret Martin, Annetta and Alfred Connors and Ada and Jacob Ruby. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m. Private family burial will be held at Preston Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
