  RIFE, Alex J. Of 325 Montrose St. S., Cambridge, Friday, July 19, 1991, at Wellesley Hospital, Toronto, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Berdie Harris. Dear father of Graham of Sauble Beach and Mrs. Darlene Cox of RR 4, Rockwood, Ont. Also survived by four grandchildren, Heather McGee and Trevor Cox, Dave and Dan Rife. Also one brother, Lloyd H. Rife of Campbellville. Mr. Rife lived all his life in Cambridge. Owned and operated the Rife Garage on King St., Preston, Cambridge, for a number of years. Member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and a member of the Preston Masonic Lodge. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 586 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service at the funeral home, Tuesda at 1: 30 p.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery, Cambridge.
