- ROWE, Harold Wesley
Of Duke Street, Cambridge, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1997, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Katherine (Morphy) and dear father of Harold of Brockville, Grace Hermer of Cambridge and Millie Cadotte and her husband Wayne of Chatham. Also survived by nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and his great-great grandson, Baden. Predeceased by his beloved son-in-law, Alvin Hermer. Mr. Rowe was born in Orangeville and came to Cambridge, from Wallaceburg, in 1982. He was employed at Libby's in Wallaceburg, until his retirement. He was a member of Trinity United Church in Wallaceburg and was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with the 65th Tank Division and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Preston Branch No. 126. A memorial service will take place at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, on Saturday, Feb. 1, 1997, at 2 p.m., with Padre Canon David Bowyer officiating. A legion service under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Preston Branch No. 128, will follow the memorial service. Cremation has taken place.
