  KOPEY, Maxine June (nee Ariss) Passed away peacefully, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at the age of 66, after a courageous journey with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Edward Kopey. Loving mother of Ken Kopey of Kitchener, Jeff (Dorothy) Kopey of Cambridge and Michael (Diane) Kopey of Hamilton: proud grandmother of Amber, Shawn and Amanda Kopey, dear sister of Bruce Ariss and companion Cherie Perks of Mt. Forest. She will be sadly missed by "Angel and Buddy". Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Vera (nee Shantz) Ariss. Maxine was a longtime employee of Zehrs Markets, with over 25 years of service. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Maxine's life, will be held at Forest Hill United Church, 121, Westmount Rd., Kitchener, on Saturday, June 1, 2002, at 11 a.m., with Rev.
