      PRESTON, William Wallace Russ of 41 Russ St., died Sunday, at South Waterloo Hospital. He was 70. Born March 4, 1901, in England, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Russ. He spent most of his life in Preston. He worked for Pattisson Woollen Mills here and Artex Woollens, Hespeler, retiring a year ago. He was a member of the Salvation Army, in Hespeler, where he was corps treasurer, for 33 years. Surviving are his wife, the former Grace Cranston: two sons, William of Hespeler, and Richard of Galt: a sister, Mrs. Addie Furtney of Preston and a grandchild. The body will be at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, from 7 p.m., today until noon Wednesday, when removal will be made to the Salvation Army citadel for service, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Park Lawn cemetery.
