  PFEIFFER, Harry Of Eventide Home, Cambridge, Saturday, Sept. 4, 1982, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Lyle Thornton; dear father of Robert of Alberta, Dennis and James of Cambridge, Gloria Ann (Mrs. Andrew DeBoer) of Exeter. Survived also by a sister, Mrs. Annie Johnson of Cambridge; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter, Eleanor (Mrs. Roger McCue), formerly of Alberta. Mr. Pfeiffer was born and lived all his life in Cambridge; a plumber by trade, a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Funeral service was conducted at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Monday at 3: 30 p.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 7 Sep 1982 pg 63
