SPOTT1SWOODE, Harvey

Of Blue Heron Ridge, Cambridge, on Monday, May 22, 1995, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Grace and dear father of Karen of Sudbury and Nancy and her husband David Gaudry of California. Lovingly remembered by five grandchildren, Julie, Mario, Lee, Tess and Ethan. Predeceased by his mother and father, Susan and Harold Spottiswoode. Mr. Spottiswoode was born in Preston and had been a lifelong resident of Cambridge. He was a retired planner with Eastern Steel Canada and a past owner and operator of the Textile Salesroom, a store on King Street, Cambridge (Preston). He was a member of St. John's Anglican Church and a long time member of their choir. He was also a former member of the Preston Library Board and a member of the Probus Club of Cambridge. At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 1995, at 7: 30 p.m., at St. John's Anglican Church, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, with Canon David Bowyer, officiating. Cremation has taken place.
