  GRIMWOOD, Walter Joseph Peacefully, on Thursday, August 19, 1999, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Joan Hobson: dear father of Kathryn Clegg and her husband Wilf and Bradley and his partner Louise McPhail, all of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Chris, Jeremy and his wife Jeff, Kim, Steve, Matt, Mike, Tara and Alyssa and one great-grandson, Liam. Survived by one sister, Alice Seip of Cambridge. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Florence Grimwood. Mr. Grimwood was born in Preston and has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a member of St. John's Anglican Church, the Men's Brotherhood at the Church, a lifelong member of the church choir, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Preston Branch 126 and did volunteer work in the community.
