  HODGSON, Hannah Ruth Ruth passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by family on January 27, 2013, in her 90th year. Ruth was born on September 10, 1923, to the late Raymond and Elise (Vallis) MaGee, in Hibernia, Queens County, NB. She was the first in her family to train as a Registered Nurse at the Saint John General Hospital. She met her husband (Jim Hodgson, deceased 1991) in Saint John, at a dance for enlisted men during World War II. They married in 1947. As an RCAF wife, Ruth and her family travelled across Canada and the USA. Following Jim's retirement, they settled in Cambridge (Preston) where Jim had grown up. Ruth continued nursing at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital until her retirement in 1988. Ruth is survived by her son: James, of Brockville On; daughters: Leslie of Burlington, ON, Ellen (Jeffrey) of Cambridge, ON, Traecy (William) of (Paris, ON); eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Ruth had 8 siblings in total; sister, Helen Burgess of Hampton, NB., continues to be well. The remaining siblings predeceased Ruth; John, Kathleen, Harold, Murray, Gerald, Frank and Annie. Cremation has occurred. A service and celebration of Ruth's life will be held at Corbett's Funeral Home on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at 3 p.m. Cambridge Times 4 Feb 2013
