      Of 165 Dorset Rd., Cambridge, on Thursday, Feb. 7, 1985, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Isabel Haist; dear father of James and Edward, both of Cambridge, Douglas of St. Catharines and Joan (Mrs. Robert Collins) of Virden, Man.; lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren; a brother, Edwin of Cambridge and three sisters, Bessie (Mrs. J. H. Waring) of Waterloo, Phyllis Burr of Kitchener and Marion (Mrs. Fred Noakes) of Orillia. Mr. Burr was born in Galt and lived in Cambridge, all his life; he was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with the Canadian Army; a member of the Preston Canadian Legion and an honorary member of the Korean War Vets, Unit 13; a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church and a retired employee of the Grand River Railway. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted, Saturday, Feb. 9, 1985, at 2 p.m., at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Cambridge. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
