  KOBUS, Margarete Elli Else January 4, 1925 to March 17, 2007. Margarete was born in Germany and immigrated to Canada with her daughter, Roswitha and husband Karl in January of 1953. Margarete and her family settled in Preston, where they became active members of the Concordia Club Dance Group. When her husband passed away in 1975, Margarete moved to Kitchener, where she made it her home. Her daughter moved her to Oakville ,in August of 2005, so that she could be closer to her family. Margarete passed away peacefully, in the early hours of March 17, 2007. She leaves behind her daughter, Roswitha (Manfred 2006); granddaughters, Charmaine and Tanya; great-grandson, Benjamin and a brother, Horst. She was always a "spit fire" and will be missed by all that knew her. We are certain that she has been reunited to her true love, Karl Kobus. Margarete's family will receive friends and relatives, at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener on Tuesday, March 20 2007, from 12: 30 p.m. until time of service in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
