  BANNERMAN, Walter George Of 222 Dover St. N., Cambridge, on Thursday, March 29, 1990, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Florence Monk: dear father of Sharon (Mrs. Ambrose Dwyer) of Sheffield, Ont. and Mary (Mrs. William Dwyer) of Calgary, Alta. Lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, James of Exeter and Harold of London, Ont. and one sister, Merle Bannerman of St. Marys. Mr. Bannerman was born in Thorndale and resided in Cambridge, for the past 50 years. A retiree of the CNR, a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with the Perth Regiment, a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and the Royal Canadian Legion. Galt Branch No. 121. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Cambridge, Monday, April 2, 1990, at 2 p.m. Interment Parklawn cemetery, Cambridge.
