      Of Dover Street N., Cambridge, on Wednesday, February 28, 1996, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 83rd year. Florence Monk, beloved wife of the late Walter G. Bannerman (1990), dear mother of Sharon (Mrs. Ambrose Dwyer) of SheffieId and Mary (Mrs. William Dwyer) of Calgary, Alberta. Lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters, Madeline (Mrs. Cliff Shillington) of Cambridge and Shirley (Mrs. Merlin Dodd) of Durham. Predeceased by her parents, Louis and Elizabeth Monk. Mrs. Bannerman was born in Hanover and has been a resident of Cambridge, for the past 60 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, the Royal Canadian Legion Preston Branch 126 Ladies Auxiliary, the Preston Women's Institute and the Queen Rebekah Lodge #54. Friends will be received at the BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Friday, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 810 King Street E., Cambridge, on Saturday, March 2, 1996, at 2: 00 p.m., with Rev. Norris Heubner officiating. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery.
