  MacQUEEN, Edna She slipped away Easter Monday, April 21, 2014, at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, in her 94th year, with family at her side. "So long," were her final words. That, and "I had a good life." Born in Milverton, on Feb. 22, 1921, a daughter of the late Annie and John J. Steckly. She was the wife of the late Daniel A. MacQueen. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Mary Ann of Cambridge and Ken MacQueen (Ros Guggi) of Vancouver and by her two grandchildren, Daniel of London, UK, and Cameron of Berlin. She is survived by her brother, Arthur (Norma), sisters-in-law Mabel and Marcella Steckly, Catherine Reid and by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by siblings, Beatrice Leis, Ernest and Andrew, brothers-in-law Robert Reid, Thomas and John MacQueen. The family is grateful for the loving angels at Fairview and at the Dialysis Unit of Grand River Hospital. They added much comfort and health to her final years. Visitation will be at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge on Thursday, April 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Knox Presbyterian, 132 Argyle St. North, Cambridge on Friday, April 25, 2014, at 1: 00 p.m. Visit www.barthelfuneralhome.com for Edna's Memorial.
