  DOERING, Ruth Elizabeth Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto. Ruth was a resident of Kitchener and was formerly of Philipsburg. She was born 76 years ago in Wellesley Township a daughter of the late Allan and Clara (Lautenschlager) Berg. Ruth was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg where she was a member of the ELW. Ruth was an avid quilter and enjoyed bowling, knitting and going for walks with her close friends. Beloved wife of Walter Doering who she married January 17, 1953. Loving mother of Ronald Doering of Waterloo and fiancé Ginnie Timpson of Hespeler, Robert Doering and Dee Hughes, Mark and Tammy Doering, all of Kitchener. Sadly missed by grandchildren Grant, Heather, Christopher, Michael, Shaun, Chris, Samantha, Elizabeth, Brett, Madelynn, Patrick, Kylene and by great-grandchildren Brayden and Ava. Lovingly remembered by sisters Esther Hoerle of New Hamburg, Dorothy and Elmer Lantz of Wellesley, and by sisters-in-law Norma and Armand Weiler of Baden, and Karolyn Heubner of Kitchener, as well as by many nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by brother Lloyd Berg and by brothers-in-law Weybourne Hoerle and Norris Heubner. Friends and relatives may call at Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg at 2: 00 p.m. with Pastor Sheryl Stone officiating. Burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
