      DEATH OCCURRED ON WEDNESDAY OF MRS. MICHAEL HELM IN HER 89TH YEAR.

      The death occurred on Wednesday afternoon at live o'clock at the residence of her son, Louis, 88 Charles street, of Katharine Lambertus, relict of the late Michael Helm. The deceased lady, who was 79 years and 6 months of age, was born in Bavaria, Germany, and came to Canada when she was but nine years of age, and for the past 37 years had resided in Berlin. Her husband predeceased her twelve years ago.

      During her long residence in this town Mrs. Helm made many warm friends, and to those will the news of her death come as a shock and cause sincere regret.

      She was the mother of thirteen children, ten of whom survive. The five sons are Fred, of Hastings, Geo. of Chicago; Jacob, of Galt, Michael, of Stratford and Louis of Berlin. The five daughters are Mrs. Calver, of Toronto, Mrs. Piltz, of Walkerton, Miss Emma Helm of Walkerton, and Mrs. Hannah, of Philadelphia.

      The funeral will take place from the deceased's son, Louis Helm, 88 Charles street, on Saturday morning at nine o'clock to the Roman Catholic Church and cemetery.
