  UNDERHILL, Ernest C. Of 1359 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, on Friday, Aug. 14, 1987, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Jean Knox; dear father of James and his wife Alicia of Cambridge, Jon and his wife Debbie of Waterloo and Janet and her husband Gordon McPherson of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by six grandchildren, Marc, Christopher, Katie and Tim Underhill and Susan and Robert McPherson and two sisters, Peggy (Mrs. Fred Budd) and Lila (Mrs. David Norwood), both of Cambridge. Predeceased by one brother, Arthur of Kitchener. Mr. Underhill was born in Smethwick, England and came to Cambridge, 75 years ago. He was a retired employee of Brewers Retail Stores, having worked for 40 years, in the Kitchener district. A member of St: John's Anglican Church and a veteran of the Second World War, having served overseas with the 10th Field Ambulance Corps. The family will receive friends at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be conducted at St. John's Anglican Church at 11: 30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 17, 1987.
