Of 1353 Concession Rd., Cambridge, on Tuesday, June 2, 1992, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Mildred P. Geick and dear father of Correy and his wife Sharon of Langton, Ont., Randy of Cambridge and Cynthia of Kitchener. Also survived by one granddaughter, Shannon; three brothers, William, Mike, Lawrence and one sister, Mrs. Inez Cram, all of Cambridge. Predeceased by one brother, Cecil. Mr. Atkinson was a resident of Cambridge, all his life, retired as a gas station owner. Veteran of the Second World War and member of the Preston Royal Canadian Legion No. 128. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, on Thursday from 2: 30 - 3: 30 for funeral service at 3: 30 p.m. By request of the family, no visitation. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery.

Predeceased by one brother Cecil. Mr. Atkinson lived all his life in Cambridge, retired Gas Station owner, veteran of W.W. II, and member of the Preston Royal Canadian Legion Branch #126. Friends will be received by the family at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Thursday, June 4th, 1992 from 2: 30 p.m. until Funeral Service time at 3: 30 p.m. By request of the family no visitation at the Funeral Home, until Funeral time Thursday. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Medical Day Care Centre of Cambridge Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
