  SWIGART, Emmet Suddenly, as the result of a heart attack, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Peterborough, on Thursday, Nov. 3, 1988, Emmet Leroy Swigart, age 67 years, of RR 2, Hastings, formerly of Kitchener. Mr. Swigart was retired from Eastern Steel Products, Cambridge (P). Beloved husband of Verna Swigart (nee Barnes), dear father of Jeffrey and his wife Tiffany, Vickie (Mrs. Terry Cunningham) and Vanessa (Mrs. Michael Lennox), all of Kitchener; Valorie (Mrs. Mark Freeman) of Stittsville; brother of Verdun of Trenton, Mrs. Frances Dear and Mrs. Vernice Clements, both of London, Ont., Mrs. Betilah Brown of Port Stanley, Mrs. Thurm Day of Centralia. Lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren, Larry, Alexandra, Tristan, Lindsay, Tiernan and Trevor. Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Bertha Swigart; granddaughter, Amy; one brother, Eldora; one sister, Mrs. Essie Biddies. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. Saturday (today), continuing until the funeral service in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Monday, 3 p.m., Captain Gordon Randell officiating.
