Of Cambridge, on Tuesday, October 18, 2005, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 90th year. Beloved mother of Shirley Thompson of Woodstock, William Thompson and his wife Bereathe of Cambridge, Irene Thompson of Kitchener and Darlene Jones and her husband William of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Survived by one sister Pearl Wirsehing of Cambridge and step-granddaughter Pauline Bittenden. Predeceased by her parents, Simon and Myrtle (Lamky) Shoemaker; five brothers, Robert, Leo, Howard, Frederick, Clifford and one sister Mildred Laur. Mrs. Thompson was born in Preston and had been a lifelong or the area. She was a member of St Clement's R.C. Church. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's R.C. Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Saturday, October 22, 2005, at 10 a.m. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
