  LAMBERT, Iris Formerly of Hedley Street, Cambridge, passed away, peacefully, at Chelsey Park Retirement Lodge, on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, in her 98th year. Iris Gassor, beloved wife of the late Roy Lambert (1980). Dear mother of Fred and his wife Carol of London and Mary Ellen Powell and her husband John (Sandy) of Langley, B.C. Dear grandmother of Jeff Lambert and his wife Debby of Ingersol, Chris Lambert and his wife Rhea of Cambridge, Jeff Macklem and his wife Amy. Gregory Macklem and his wife Laurie and Kristine Macklem, all of London, Barbara Powell, Stephanie Powell and John Powell, all of Langley, B.C. Sadly missed by four great-grandchildren and one sister, Vera Nossik of Australia. Predeceased by one son, Leonard (1996) and ten brothers and sisters. Mrs. Lambert was born in Wales and had been a longtime resident of Cambridge and member of St. John's Anglican Church. The family received friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was conducted at St. John's Anglican Church, 567 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, at 2 p.m. with Canon David Bowyer officiating.
