Of 622 Lowther St. S., Cambridge, on Sunday, Feb. 12, 1984, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 52nd year. Beloved husband of Marian Allison; dear father of Mark and Karen, both at home; loving brother of Harry of St. Catharines and Helen (Mrs. Henry Bruhlman) of Chatham. Predeceased by one brother, Douglas of Essex. Mr. VanDorn was born in Chatham and moved to Preston in 1958; was employed at Butler Metal Products as a press operator for the past 35 years. He was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters and a past financial secretary for Local 1780 UAW. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends, Monday, 3-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home, on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1984, at 2 p.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
