  TIERNEY, William Leonard Sr. Of 1805 Biscayne Dr., Cambridge, at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, March 1, 1979, William Tierney, beloved husband of Helen Dobbin. Dear father of William Jr. of Cambridge, Lawrence of Kitchener, Thomas at home, Mary (Mrs. Woody Gibson) of San Pedro, Calif., Marda (Mrs. Ted Charters) of Oakville, Zala (Mrs. Donald Brubacher) of Goderich; also survived by six grandchildren. Mr. Tierney, was born in Guelph and a lifelong resident of the area. He was employed at the Artex Woollen Mill, Hespeler, retiring November, 1975. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (P), where the family will receive friends, Sunday, March 4, after 2 p.m. Funeral service Monday, March 5, at 2 p.m. Interment Park Lawn cemetery.
