Of Greenbrier Road, Cambridge, on Friday, Feb. 20, 1998, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 85th year. Mary Jane Gosse, beloved wife of the late Dugald Sheppard (1976). Dear mother of Douglas, Bruce and his wife Laurine, all of Toronto, Keith of Cambridge, Ewart and his with Pamela of Florida, Ruth and her husband Charles Hobbs of Penticton, B.C. and Glenys and her husband Frank Brown of Cambridge; lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren, Paula, Douglas, Jason, Kimberly, Kyle, Joel, Janise, Mark, Christopher, Kathleen, Keith and four great-grandchildren. Survived by one sister-in-law, Greta Sheppard of Newfoundland. Predeceased by her parents, John and Dianna Gosse: her brother, Peter and her sisters, Sarah, Betsy and Naiomi. Mrs. Sheppard was born in Tilton, Newfoundland and has been a resident of Cambridge, since 1975. She was a member of Trinity Anglican Church, a former member of the Newfoundland Card Club and the Dickson Senior Bowl. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 12 Blair Road, Cambridge on Monday, Feb. 23, 1998, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Robert Grisdale officiating. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
