  WALKER, Mary Hermina (Schut) October 13, 1922 - February 28, 2013. Mary passed away suddenly in the presence of her family, after an evening out together. Predeceased by her parents, Johanna and Garret Schut and her beloved husband Douglas Stanley Walker. Also predeceased by her brother Gary, sister Minnie and Granddaughter Elizabeth Walker. Mary was a lifelong, proud Prestonian with 47 years of service with Wells Pharmacy. From there she moved to Top Drug Mart - Shoppers, where she spent another 17 years as a Pharmacy Assistant and Cosmetologist. In retirement she enjoyed being the greeter at the monthly seniors days. An avid Bridge player, she spent many a fine hour at the Allan Reuter Centre. She was a Past Regent of the Preston IODE, past member of the Preston Kinettes, and a current member of Women's Probus. Mary is survived by her children, Wendy Walker and husband Keith Baird, Craig and Joy Walker, Jeff and Ellen Walker and Andrew and Jackie Walker. She was so proud of her Grandchildren, Katie and David Baird, Michael Walker, Allison and Sarah Walker and Andrew and Laura Walker. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. A private interment will take place at Parklawn Cemetery.
