  LAURENCE, Ella On Thursday, Feb. 4, 1993, at Golden Years Nursing Home, Cambridge, in her 81st year. Ella Heggie, beloved wife of the late Albert (Rosy) Laurence (1984). Dear mother of Donald of Cambridge, Joan (Mrs. Doug Merkel) of St. Jacobs and Carol Arsenault of Hampton, N.B. Lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one brother, David Heggie of Mississauga and one sister, Mary Adamson of Cambridge. Predeceased by her parents, one brother, George Jr. of Cambridge and one sister. Jessie Ford of Cambridge. Mrs. Laurence was born in Cambridge (Galt) and was a lifelong resident of Cambridge. She had been employed for 33 years at Savage Shoe, retiring 15 years ago. She was a former member of the Harmony Bluebirds of Cambridge (Galt). The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Friday), 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, Feb. 7, 1993, at St. John's Anglican Church, Queenston Road, Cambridge at 2 p.m. Cremation following.
