    • PAROHAMIAN, Arsen

      Of Duke Street, Cambridge, on Sunday, Aug. 17, 1997, at his residence, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Bytzar Froundjian (1993). Dear mother of John and his wife Marie of Cambridge, Anne Brasmer of Vero Beach, Fla. and Rose Keeney and her husband Gerald of Hollywood, Fla. Lovingly remembered by two grandchildren, Anne (Keeney) Madsen and Gerald (Jay) Keeney Jr. Predeceased by his parents, Mardiros and Sooltan Parghamian and one son, Mart in 1934. Mr. Parghamian was born in Erzerum in Turkish Armenia and had been a resident of Cambridge, since 1923. He was a survivor of the 1915 Turkish Massacre, of the Christian Armenians. He was a longtime employee of Clare Bros. Foundry. a member of St. Nishan Armenian Apostolic Church, the A.R.F.. taught the Armenian language for many years to the children and was an avid gardener. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home, on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 1997, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Father Varant Bedrossian officiating. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
