- EMRICH, Andreas
Of Frederick Street, Cambridge, on Monday, June 6, 1994, at his residence, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Maria Stierl and dear father of Andreas and his wife Veronika of Waterloo, Katharine and her husband John Bidner of Kitchener, Rosina and her husband Arthur Pinnau of Cambridge. Also survived by one sister, Maria Csoeff of Germany and five step-sisters, Sophia, Anna. Maria, Grete and Susanna. Lovingly remembered by nine grandchildren, Andrea Emrich, Stephanie Klein, Christopher Emrich, Elke Bidner, Heide Emrich and Marli Pinnau. Also Katharina, Maria and Richard Strifler. Predeceased by his first wife, Maria and one daughter, Maria; two sisters, Katharina and Rosina and one step-brother, John. Andreas was born in Minarken, Romania and had been a resident of Cambridge, since 1953, from Austria. A retired construction worker, a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and the Transylvania Club of Kitchener. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving in the Hungarian Army. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 1994, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 810 King St. E., Cambridge, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Norris Heubner officiating. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery.
