  RIEGER, Dorothy Lillian Of Riverbend Place, Cambridge, on Wednesday, September 22, 2004, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Albert Rieger (1994). Dear mother of Merilyn Thompson and her husband James of Cambridge, Drs. Carol Irizarry and her husband Eric Hobson of Adelaide, Australia and Robert and his wife Faye of King City. Lovingly remembered by 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Gertrude Lavis; two brothers, Edward and Bert and one sister, Gertrude. Mrs. Rieger was born in Hamilton and had been a resident of Cambridge, since 1993, She was a member of Knox Preston Presbyterian Church and graduated as a nurse from Hamilton General Hospital, in 1931. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, today (Saturday), from 10: 30 - 11: 30 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Knox Preston Presbyterian Church, 132 Argyle St. N., Cambridge, on Saturday, September 25, 2004 (today), at 2 p.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
