  COOLEN, Mrs. Walter Of 237 Guelph St. N., Preston, at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1972, Ethel Shiers; beloved wife of Walter Coolen; dear mother of Winston of Toronto, Nancy (Mrs. James Dorrington) of Preston; in her 60th year. Mrs. Coolen was born in Halifax, N.S. and had lived in Preston for the past 10 years, member of St. John's Anglican Church, Preston. She is also survived by three brothers, Fred Shiers of Petawawa, John of Halifax, Arthur of Halifax; two sisters, Rita (Mrs. Edward Fillion) of Hespeler, Eleanor (Mrs. A. Mitchell) of Dartmouth, N.S. and three grandchildren. Mrs. Coolen is resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, until Thursday noon, then to St. John's Anglican Church, for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
