  SKANES, Christine With her family by her side, at home, on Saturday, September 8, 2001, in her 44th year. Loving mother of Brad Skanes and his girlfriend Nicole DeVeau and Jennifer Skanes, both at home. Cherished daughter of Paulette and the late John Melenchuk and sister of Sue Melenchuk, Bill Melenchuk and Debbie and her husband Bob Mills. Christine will be dearly missed by the extended Skanes family and her many friends and colleagues. Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home, 223 Main St. E., Cambridge, today (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose RC Church (South and Chalmers St.) on Wednesday, September 12, 2001, at 11: 30 a.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.
