CORDEIRO, Georgina

Of Fairview Mennonite Home, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, March 15, 2007, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 89th year. Georgina Moniz, beloved wife of the late Manuel Cordeiro (2000). Dear mother of Manuel (Olga) of Cambridge, Maria Demelo (Gilberto) of Portugal and Maria Arruda (Antonio) of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered, by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Survived by two sisters, Maria Sousa (Daniel) of Cambridge and Antonia Viveiros of Toronto. Predeceased by her parents, Francisco and Antonina Moniz. Mrs. Cordeiro was born in San Miguel, Portugal and came to Canada in 1966, residing in Cambridge, since 1967. She was a member of St. Clement's R.C. Church, Cambridge. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's R.C. Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge, on Saturday, March 17, 2006, at 10 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
