  SNYDER, Norman Norm was surrounded by his family when he passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2012, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton. He was 86 years old. Norm was predeceased by his loving wife Rita (nee Eadie), his parents Olivia and Joseph Snyder and his sisters Ada Durst, Amy Eisenbach and Ethel Tuxford. Norman was born on April 6, 1926 in West Montrose, Ontario. He is survived by his four daughters, Judy Renwick (Jeff), Joanne Owens (Craig), Karen McGuire (Al) and Nancy Schneider (Jack). He will be remembered by his sisters Vera Bettridge Ashwell and Ruth Durst. His many grandchildren will miss him dearly, they include Brian Renwick (Krystine), Trisha Owens (Matt), Trevor Owens (Andrea), Tarah and Laura Schneider and Sarah and Emma McGuire. Norm was also blessed to see the birth of three great-grandchildren Emerson, Arwen and Tristan who brought their great grandpa an immense amount of joy and he always had a huge smile for the newest additions to the Snyder clan. Norm spent the last 10 years living at Elgin Lodge, Port Elgin, where he made many friends and spent many happy times with the extraordinary staff. The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton for the end of life care that they provided.
