  CAINES, GARFIELD Forrester's Point Passed away at the John M. Gray Centre in St. Anthony on Dec. 2, 2008, Garfield Caines, age 85 years. Leaving to mourn five daughters Dorcas Mitchelmore, Elizabeth (George) Baines, Mary Ann (Edmund) Gibbons, Levinia Fillatre and Myrtle (Wade) Guinchard; two sons Louis (Jane) Caines, and Walter (Mariah) Caines; grandchildren Betty, Dulcie, Watson, Jarvis, Harold, Samuel, Trudy, Jade, Bradley, Renita, David, Ashley, Jilda, Paula and Jeremy; great-grandchildren Dominique, Keegan, Kiara, Jade, Ariana, Lauren, Kindra and Kenisha, and special friend Cecelia Galliott. He was predeceased by wife Jenny Keziah, son-in-law Churchill Mitchelmore and Kerry Fillatre, sister Elizabeth Bailey and brothers Isaac, Walter, Jacob, and Henry John. Visitation was held at the Anglican Church in Forrester’s Point from where the funeral service was held on Friday, Dec. 5, with Rev. Kris Gosse and Rev. Canon Jean Brenton-Hickman officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton. ____________________ CAINES, KEZIA JENNY Forrester's Point It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kezia Jenny Caines, aged 74 years, announce her passing on Monday, Dec. 16, 2002, at her family residence in Forrester's Point. She will be sadly missed by Garfield, her loving and devoted husband of 56 years; children Dorcas Mitchelmore of Cambridge, ON, Elizabeth Baines (George), Mary Ann Gibbons (Edmund) and Levinia Fillatre of Corner Brook, Myrtle Guinchard (Wayde) of Mount Pearl, Louis (Jane) and Walter (Maria); 15 grandchildren Sam, Trudy, Jade, Jarvis, Harold, Betty, Dulcie, Watson, Paula, Jilda, Bradley, Renita, David, Ashley and Jeremy; six greatgrandchildren Dominique, Keegan, Kiara, Jade, Kendra and Kanisha; sister Dorcas Caines (Isaac), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her brothers Jacob and Garfield Humber and sons-in-law Kerry M. Fillatre and Churchill Mitchelmore. Visitation was held at St. Mary's Anglican Church in Black Duck Cove from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19 with Rev. Ross Rumbolt officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to K.M. Fillatre Home, St. Anthony, Wilfred Hutchings, funeral director.
