  REIS, Emilia Melo At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of Joao Reis and dear mother of Celeste (Sally) and her husband John Cordeiro; dearest grandmother of Nicholas, Bradley and Joshua; beloved sister of Virginia Reis of Cambridge and Maria de Jesus Moreira of Mass., U.S.A. Emilia was predeceased by two sons, in infancy, Manuel and Antonio. Emilia came from the Azores to join her husband Joao in 1961, where they eventually established a family butcher business. Emilia worked alongside Joao for over twenty years providing quality service to their family and friends. Emilia will be remembered as a woman who quietly devoted herself to the loving care of her family and friends. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on this evening (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Clements RC Church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge, on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000, at 10 a.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge, Rosary will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, at 8: 30 p.m. The Record Newspaper 18 Dec 2000 pg B11
