  PEER, Verna With sadness and heavy hearts the family of Verna Peer, announces her passing at the age of 80, on April 23, 2015, in Cambridge. Now in the arms of her soulmate, Don, who predeceased her in 1991 and her son, Colin (2003). Loving and devoted mother to Brian, Ken (Patti), Keith (Maria), Sherry (James) and Susan (Brad). Dearest grandmother to thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Verna will forever remain in the hearts of her brother, George, sisters, Beatrice and Marion, friends and family. A Visitation will be held at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (519-653-3251) on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, from 1: 00 p.m., to 1: 45 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Waterloo Region Record 25 Apr 2015
