  MASTERSON, George Of 451 Sherring St., Cambridge, on Saturday, Sept. 23, 1989, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Shirley Guthrie; dear father of James of Milton and Kenneth of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by one granddaughter, Cheryl and one sister, Irene (Mrs. Patrick Edwards) of England. Predeceased by one brother, Kenneth. Mr. Masterson was born in Cambridge (Galt) and lived all his life in Cambridge. He was an employee of Dexter-Lawson of Cambridge. A member of St. John's Anglican Church; the Royal Canadian Legion, Preston Branch No. 126 and a veteran of the Second World War, having served overseas with the Princess Louise Dragoon Guards. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Monday), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1989, at 2 p.m., at St. John's Anglican Church, Cambridge.
