      Of Cambridge, on Monday, April 2, 2007, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Wilva. Dear father of Frank and his wife Heather of Cambridge and Jane Tieman and her husband Andre of Dorset, Ont. Sadly missed by his step-children, Barbara Jacobs and Dennis Jacobs. Lovingly remembered by eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.Predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Frances Langston; one brother, Rae; one granddaughter, Kristi Langston and one great-granddaughter, Megan Tieman.Mr. Langston was born in Cambridge (Preston). His professional engineering career took him to Ajax, North Bay, Scarborough, Ottawa and back to Cambridge 23 years ago. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with the RCAF, was shot down and spent time as a prisoner of war, was a member of First United Church, Cambridge, the Church Choir, the Galt Country Club, the Probus Club, the Royal Canadian Legion, Hespeler Branch 272 and an avid walker in Victoria Park, where he was a friend with everyone.The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at First United Church, 15 Wellington Street, Cambridge on Thursday, April 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
