- JOHNSTONE, Margaret H. Of Clare Avenue, Cambridge, on Tuesday, May 17, 1994, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Margaret Richards, in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of Leslie Johnstone. Dear sister of George Richards of Mattawa and Elizabeth Latimer of Ruther Glen, Ont. Predeceased by her parents, Cecil and Bertha Richards,two brothers, Dalton and Lloyd and one sister, Doris Rausch. Mrs. Johnstone, was born in Mattawa, Ont. and came to Preston in 1940. She was employed at Hostess Foods, for 22 years, retiring, seven years ago She was a member of St. Paul's United Church, the Fairview Aquatic Club and a director of the Preston Senior Citizens. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Thursday) 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral and committal service, will be conducted, on Friday, May 20, at St. Paul's United Church, 450 King St. E., Cambridge, at 1: 30 p.m., with Rev. Peter Wesley officiating. Interment following in Parklawn Cemetery,Cambridge.
