"Much loved sister and mother to many dear friends", of William Street, Cambridge, on Thursday, May 12, 1994, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Lillian Morrison, beloved wife of Curly Veit, in her 63rd year. Dear mother of Chris of Toronto, Joe and his wife Tracy of Mississauga and Mike and his fiance Connie of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by two grandchildren, Joshua and Bryan; one brother, Mel and his wife Mabel Morrison of Carman, Man.; one sister, Betty and her husband Bill James of Calgary, Alta.; three sisters-in-law, Grace, Ruth and Elsie and one brother-in-law, Ross. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Violet Morrison; one son, Timothy (1953) and one brother, Joe. Lillian was born in Carman and came to Cambridge from North Bay in 1968. She was employed at National Tool Distributors for many years. She was a member of the Preston Senior Citizens Club, St. Luke's water therapy class, past active member of Preston Minor Hockey Mothers Association and an avid bowler in the Friday night mixed bowling league. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. H.O. Hartig at the funeral home, on Monday, May 16, 1994, at 11 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
