    • COCHRANE, JOHN

      Peter Cochrane of Akron, Ohio is spending a few days calling on old acquaintances in the vicinity (Killean). Mr. Cochrane came over to attend the funeral of his brother, John in Kitchener, who was well known here by the older residents, having spent his boyhood days here and since leaving, has been a regular visitor to the old fishing holes along the Mill Creek. Mr. Cochrane was an enthusiastic fisherman and several times had trout fry from the government hatcheries deposited in the creek.

      -Information from the death certificate: Son of Donald Cochrane and Mary Clark. Died at Toronto General Hospital on Sept. 17, 1928, aged 74 years, 1 month, 16 days. Occupation - woodworker with machinery in manufacturing. Informant - his son, Richard Cochrane of 74 Edward St. in Kitchener.
