  ROTHWELL, Mary Margaret Of Marian Residence, Cambridge, died on Saturday, September 10, 2005, after a life well lived, one month after joyously celebrating her 93rd birthday, with family and friends. Born August 5, 1912 in Dorking, Ontario she moved to Preston (now Cambridge) in the 1930s and married Russell Rothwell on June 22, 1946. She was a loving wife and mother and worked as a Red Cross Homemaker while raising her own family. Mary was a life-long member of St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Women's League. She enjoyed playing euchre and solo with friends at the Alan Reuter Seniors Centre and more recently at Marian Residence, where she has lived for the past six years. Mary was predeceased by her husband Russell and is survived by her sister Dorothy of California. Mary will be greatly missed by her four children, Sylvia (Sorin Lupu) of Naples, Florida, Gregory of Cambridge, Therese (Larry Downes) of Niagara-on-the-Lake and Patrick (Connie) of Welland. Lovingly remembered by five grandchildren, Christopher, Julia, Emily, Cailin and Gillian. Mary will be dearly missed by the residents and staff of Marian Residence. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, 653-3251, Thursday, September 15, 2005, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The prayers will be recited at the funeral home Thursday evening, at 8: 30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's R.C.
