      Of 505 Westminster Drive, Cambridge, on Thursday, April 6, 1980, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Caroline Hartzman; dear father of Edward of Cambridge, John of Oil Springs, Ont., Paul of St. Clements, Anna (Mrs. Clement Brooker) of Kitchener, Rosanne (Mrs. Edward Johnson) of Waterloo, Marie (Mrs. Lyle Broughton) and Barbara (Mrs. Kevin Gawne), both of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Hyjek was the last survivor of his family. He was born in Poland and came to Cambridge, 47 years ago. from Woodstock. He was a retiree of Date Industries, of Ayr. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Friday) from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at Bethel Tabernacle, Cambridge, Saturday, April 8, 1989, at 3 p.m. Interment Parklawn cemetery.
