  HYJEK, Caroline M. Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1998, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late John Hyjek. Loving mother of Anna Brooker and her husband Clement, Edward Hyjek and his wife Ruth, Rosaline Johnson and her husband Edward, Marie Broughton and her husband Lyle, John Hyjek Jr. and his wife Mildred, Barbara Gawn and her husband Kevin and Paul Hyjek; cherished grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; sister of Rev. Mary Buczynski, Stella Turow, Theresa Kowalski, Catharine Plens and Josephine Pachereva. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, today (Friday) from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Bethel Tabernacle Church, 1655 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Saturday, Sept. 26, 1998, at 2 p.m., interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
