  PISARCHUK, Katharina "Oma" On Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, at the age of 90. Katharina was born in Leibling, Romania on February 25, 1915, the daughter of Peter and Barbara Welker. Devoted and loving mother of Katherine (Fred) Rech of Cambridge, Adam (Ida) Bartolf of Cambridge, Magdelena (Neil) Laur of Victoria, B.C., Sonya (Jim) Ott of Cambridge, Rose (Ed) Eaton of Cambridge, and Peter (Cindy) Pisarchuk of Kitchener, along with 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews in Canada, Germany, Austria and Romania. Predeceased by her husbands; Adam Bartolf (1944) and Fred Pisarchuk (1994): one grandson, Armand Rech (1983) and her sisters, Barbdra, Elizabeth, Sophia, Rosina and Maria as well as her brother, Martin. Visitation will be at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge on Thursday, Sept. 22nd 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 810 King Street, Cambridge on Friday, Sept. 23rd at 10: 30 a.m. with Pastor Suzanne Nevile officiating.
