  GAMBLE, John Joseph Suddenly, on Sunday, May 12, 2002, at his home, in Preston, in his 72nd year. Lovingly remembered by his three sons, Gary, Stephen and Elizabeth and Martin and his wife Lisa, all of Cambridge. Special Grand Dad to Brooke, Scott and Jeff and Great-Grand Dad to Madison and Josh. He will always be remembered by his best friends, Kyle, Shirly, Doreen, Theresa and Michelle. Survived by his mother, Teresa Gamble of Ireland. Predeceased by his wife Maria, in 1999. John was the owner and operator of Gambles Tavern and Tune-ups Lounge and a proud fan of the New York Islanders. Visitation will be held at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Monday, May 13, 2002 (today) from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, May 14, 2002, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass celebrating John's life will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2002 at 10 a.m. at the St. Clements RC Church.
