Cambridge, passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, June 9, 2004, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Rettinger (1996). Dear mother of William James Rettinger and his wife Ruth of Elmira and Shirley Anne Gleed and her husband Bob of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by five grandchildren, Mark Hagey of Hamilton, Jamie Paul Hagey and his wife Robin of Cambridge, Gregory James Hagey and his wife Wendy of Nova Scotia, Joseph William Rettinger and his wife Debbie of Tara, Lori Ann Gallaugher and her husband Ian of Guelph and nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, James and Ida Harvey; two brothers, James and Fred Harvey and three sisters, Helen, Grace and Gladys. Mrs. Rettinger was born in Guelph and has been a longtime resident of Preston. She, along with her late husband owned and operated Rettinger Building Supplies of Preston for many years. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Monday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at 10: 30 a.m., with Canon David Bowyer officiating. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
